Goldie Lynn Grigg was born to loving parents on March 10, 2018, in North Little Rock Arkansas. The light and love she brought with her into this world is unmatched in her parent’s eyes. From an early age she has expressed her creative nature.
At the tender age of 2 1/2 years old, Goldie was diagnosed with stage 4, metastatic, neuroblastoma; a childhood cancer of the nervous system. The cancer started on her adrenal gland and quickly overtook her left kidney. It spread to her lymph nodes, lung, and spine. She endured over 2 1/2 years of cancer treatments. This included; chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation, 2 stem cell transplants, countless blood transfusions, and multiple surgeries.
Today she is still not considered cancer-free, and she continues to deal with various side effects of the cancer treatment. Despite this, she is stable and thriving.
Goldie is an inspiration to so many people, including those closest to her and others from all over the world. Goldie has endured many hard things in her short life, but she chooses to focus on her joy instead of her pain.
Goldie has embraced her artistic nature and entrepreneurial spirit to launch "Goldie’s Art Shop." Her art work is inspired by her daily life. She blends nature and fantasy to achieve her unique style.
All proceeds from her art sales will help her reach her goals. She will continue to give love and support to other children in the hospital. She also wants to pursue her own adventures. She currently dreams of swimming with dolphins.
